Julia Masuda

Welcome to my Studio! My name is Julia.

Born in Newfoundland, I grew up in the Maritimes.

Art has always been a part of my life. I studied Fine Arts at Concordia University in Montreal.

Today, I live in beautiful British Columbia with my husband and 4 kids where I love to create art that transports you to those feelings of being in nature.

My paintings are inspired by my experiences and relationships with the natural world. I believe that if you are patient and still, you can learn so much from the nature around you, even from a lone buttercup creeping through the cracks of concrete.

I want to share all that I have experienced and learnt from the great wild to my little garden by wrapping it all into something beautiful. I put a lot of thought and love into the process so I hope you would enjoy the journey along with me.
